Frequently asked questions

How do I get in?

The first time, on the start screen: tap "Start without an account" (or "Start", if you don't see the Google or Apple buttons), type your name and your group is created. If you have already linked your account, tap "Continue with Google" or "Continue with Apple" (on iPhone) and you go straight in. If you have been invited to a group, open the invitation link or tap "I have an invitation" and scan its QR code or type its code (8 letters and numbers): you get in without a PIN. You can also join the old way, with the group code and its PIN, if the group has one (More → Settings → Group and phones → Security).

How do I invite someone to my group?

In More → Settings → Group and phones, "Invite someone" (or, when adding a person, "On their own phone"): choose who, and you get a QR code for them to scan next to you and a link to send them. Each invitation works once and expires after 7 days; until it's used, you can cancel it. No PIN needed.

How do I link my Google or Apple account, and what do I get?

In More → Settings → This phone → "Your account" (or in the notice on Today). With your account linked, on a new phone or after reinstalling you get in with "Continue with Google" or "Continue with Apple", without the code or the PIN, and you get back your person and everything you logged. You can unlink it right there whenever you want. If you lose your phone, yours can be removed from another phone in the group (Group and phones) and, if you want, your account too (when removing the phone, or in More → Settings → People → your name); if it isn't removed, you can use it to get back in.

How do I log what I eat?

With the "+" button → "Log food", type it or dictate it ("150 g of lentils and a banana") or take a photo. The app calculates it, you check it and you add it to the day.

How do steps and weight get logged automatically?

In More → Settings → This phone, "Turn on automatic data". On iPhone they are read from Health; on Android, from Health Connect.

How do I stop using AI?

In More → Settings → This phone, turn off "Use AI on this phone". The app keeps working without calculating with AI.

How do I change or cancel my plan?

Plans are bought in the phone app (More → Settings → Your plan → See plans) and are managed by the store: on that same screen, "Manage subscription", on the phone of the person who pays. You can also cancel in the store's settings (iPhone: Settings → your name → Sub­scriptions; Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions). If you cancel, the plan stays until the end of the paid period.

Can I move my plan to another group?

One store account pays for one group's plan: while the subscription is active, it is not moved to another group, either by buying or with "Restore purchases". If you want to switch groups with the subscription active, write to us at the email address above with the code of both groups and we will sort it out.

How do I ask for a refund?

Refunds are made by the store: at reportaproblem.apple.com (Apple) or from your Google Play order history. More details in the terms of use.

I bought a plan and it doesn't show up

In More → Settings → Your plan → See plans, tap "Restore purchases" with the same Apple or Google account you paid with. If it still doesn't show up, write to us at the email address above with the group's code.

How do I delete my data?

In More → Settings → Delete the group, with the group's PIN (or, if the group has no PIN, by typing its name). Everything is deleted forever, including the linked Google or Apple accounts. You can also ask for it by email. Deleting the group does not cancel a subscription: cancel it in the store first. All the details are in Deleting a group's data.
